Political Term
Political terms in the Tunes lexicon. Political terms are those that deal with the topic of public policy in some form or another, whether technical or not.- Administration - The political term for the act of managing information about people or computer objects, that is not directly needed as an important result, but is useful to achieve proper scheduling
- Centralization - The political term for the concept that in some system, information flows entirely or at least in a very significant part through a one central point
- Committee - A political term for collaborations for forming and publishing agreements on technical topics
- Communism - The political term for a political theory that, from a static view of the world, and outrageous rationalism, denies liberalism, proposes centralization instead, and encourages revolution to achieve it
- Computer Industry - Considering the Computing System as a whole is the most natural thing; but this is not what the computer industry (a political term) does and provides to its purchasers
- Computing Freedom - This political term describes the freedom to use computers according to one's personal needs and tastes, and to undertake any computer work that won't deprive other computer users, while no one will be allowed to deprive anyone else likewise
- Computing Liberalism - The political term for the application of the theories of Liberalism to the computing world
- Conservatism - The political term for tending to stick to the current contents of tradition
- Cynicism - A political term describing the philosophy that refuses the abstraction of moral concepts: the cynic man refuses to consider "what if
- Ethics - The political term for the interface between the world and philosophy
- Expediency - This political term describes situations benefiting one's (or a few ones') short term and restricted interests
- Fair Competition - A political term, meaning competition based on real, total information instead of the explicit or implicit lies issued from the most powerful cheaters

- Freedom - A political term synonymous and related to Liberty and Computing Freedom
- God - Considering a system or universe, the political term for anyone that has power to defy the laws of the universe is a God
- Holy - A political term signifying that something is absolute and does not depend on any human-reachable thing
- Liberalism - In its original, nineteenth century sense, liberalism is the political term for the theory which shows that in any evolving system, there is a natural selection of subsystems by survival of the fittest with respect to the feedback sent by the system
- Liberty - Liberty has always been a very difficult political term to define
- Monopoly - The political term for the situation where a person, company, or trust, controls a market
- Open - A political term for a system that is ever subject to dynamic enhancement, to external suggestions, whose development team is ever awake and open-minded (i.e. receptive to arguments or ideas: impartial)
- Open Development - The political term for a project that is constantly publishing its results and accepting feedback
- Publicity - A political term for the fact of information getting published, that is, being made available to all
- Rationalism - The political term for being rational
- Religion - In its original meaning, a religion is a collection of rites that constitute a link between man and man, between man and nature, so that men respect the resources of nature, and the work of other people
- Revolution - A political term for a drastic cultural change in a system, in which a long despised, long ignored, or long too expensive point of view, habit, phenomenon, or technique becomes obvious and benefits the whole system: the Copernician Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the Computer Revolution
- Revolutionary - The political term for that which rejects tradition, somewhat regardless of whether it starts a perceived revolution
- Root - A political term
- Tradition - The political term for the process of accumulation of information, which obeys the laws of evolution by natural selection as described by the theory of liberalism
