SICP
SICP is an
acronym for "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs", a book written by Harold Abelson, Gerald Jay Sussman and Julie Sussman, published by MIT press and used as a textbook at MIT for introductory courses. It uses
Scheme as the programming language of choice and has gained a wide reputation. It is also known as "the wizard book" for the drawing of a wizard on the sleeve. It is freely available online at the companion site.
